For the best viewing of this website (and all websites) from your AOL based browser, make sure that the "Use Compressed Graphics" preference box is turned "OFF".

To alter or check on this setting, follow this very quick procedure:

  • Select "My AOL" from the AOL Menu Bar
  • Select "Preferences"
  • Click on "WWW" icon for AOL Internet Preferences
  • Select "Web Graphics" from the Menu Bar
  • Make sure that the box which enables Graphics Compression is unchecked (that is, turned "OFF").

The actual procedure indicated above varies slightly with each version of AOL on each platform (PC vs. MAC) but is very similar to the steps provided above. The essential element is to find, within AOL's "Preferences", the area where Graphics Compression is controlled and make sure that that function is turned "OFF".

You only need to perform this adjustment once and the change should become part of your permanent AOL Preference Settings. You will notice richer, sharper graphics in all of the websites you visit after making this adjustment.
